- Elon Musk has issued an absurd challenge to Vladimir Putin regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
He wrote on Twitter that he was challenging Putin to "fight for one," adding, "Issues by Ukraine."- Musk sent Starlink systems to help Ukraine, while SpaceX recently merged with Russia.
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said in an unusual tweet on Monday that he is challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin to fight alone over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Musk wrote on Twitter: "With this I challenge Vladimir Putin in one battle. What matters is Ukraine." He wrote some words in Cyrillic text and others in English.
In the following tweet, he posted the official Twitter account of the Russian presidency and wrote in Russian: "Do you agree with this war?"
He did not give details about how this would happen.
Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24. Representatives of both countries are expected to meet for the fourth time on Monday to continue talks.
Musk sent Starlink systems to Ukraine shortly after the attack to provide internet access.
SpaceX has also recently taken the jab of Russia.
Dmitry Rogozin, head of Rososcosmos, a Russian airline, said earlier this month that Russia would no longer be able to send rocket engines to the US in response to sanctions. "They don't fly anything, I don't know what their broom sticks are," he said.
On Wednesday, as SpaceX launched Starlink satellites, the company's launch director said, "It's time to let the American broomstick fly and hear the sounds of freedom."
