The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the month of May in proportion to its mid-month price. The best Dow Jones stocks you can buy and watch in June are Apple (AAPL), Chevron (CVX), Dow (DOW), Microsoft (MSFT) and Travelers (TRV).


There are clear winners - and losers - by the end of May. Dow Jones' top three stocks as of May 31 were Chevron, Merck (MRK) and Dow improved by 48.8%, 20.1% and 19.9%, respectively.


Dow Jones' biggest defeats in May were Salesforce (CRM), Boeing (BA) and Cisco Systems (CSCO) down 37%, 34.7% and 28.9% year-on-year.


The tech-heavy Nasdaq finished in May fell by 22.8% year-on-year. The S&P 500 fell 13.3%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 9.2% until May 31.

Microsoft's Dow Jones software leader dropped 1.65% on Friday, as Dow Jones' top stock continues to build a new foundation. MSFT shares are below their 200-day line.

The stock is more than 20% of its 52 week high discount.

Travelers Stock Eyes Buy Point
Insurance Trail Travelers form the base of a cup with a shopping point of 188.08. Stocks are trying to regain their 50-day main line this week.

Travelers' shares fell 1.6% on Friday.
